From the Principal
Welcome to Clark Fork Junior/Senior High School, home of the Wampus Cats! Located in the beautiful town of Clark Fork, Idaho (pop. 530), our school offers students a unique learning experience unmatched by any school in the district. With a 14:1 student to teacher ratio, our kids receive the individual attention they deserve. Our teachers and staff are among the best in the nation, providing a dynamic educational experience. Outstanding academics are matched by our community's pride.
Our school is truly a family with a surrounding community who loves the kids as much as we do. Whether it’s hiking trips, ski trips, or just a game of basketball after school, everyone is engaged in helping our kids feel supported, important, and loved. Interested in playing sports? The small school atmosphere also hosts a no-cut sports program, allowing all students who are interested to be part of the team. Students learn valuable skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and character development without the risk of being cut. This allows our kids to grow not only as athletes, but in the classroom as well. We may be small, but you won’t find a bigger heart than at Clark Fork Junior/Senior High School.
